The great advantage of mechanical power transmission compared to hydraulic power is better efficiency, which is why less power is lost in case of mechanical power transmission. Thanks to this energy saving, the mechanical drive enables longer mowing times, as the mower does the same work with less fuel. The great specialty of our double knife mower is that, despite the mechanical drive, large cutting widths are possible because the drive works with a belt instead of a heavy cardan shaft or prone push rods.
